Who are we?
PROGEO is an online geography education platform, available in Spanish and English, designed for users of all ages.
Account Types
PROGEO Free — free access to the Daily Challenge and personal ranking, no registration required. Your progress is saved on your device.
PROGEO Premium — a paid subscription that includes all of the above plus unlimited access to Learning Mode. Registration is required, and your progress is saved to your account.
What data do we collect?
When you create an account, we collect: username, email address, and password (stored in encrypted form).
During use, we record: game history, accumulated scores, progress, and personal streaks.
For Premium accounts, payment data is managed by a certified external processor. PROGEO does not store or access payment data.
What do we use your data for?
- Manage your account and access to the platform
- Record your progress and show you your personal ranking
- Send you communications related to your account
- Improve the platform based on aggregated and anonymous usage
PROGEO does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Do we use cookies?
PROGEO uses the browser's local storage (localStorage) to save preferences, and also your progress if you're a Free user. If you're a Premium user, your progress is saved to your account.
PROGEO uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage your personalized advertising preferences through Google's Ad Settings.
Minors
PROGEO is suitable for all ages. For users under 13 years of age, registration must be completed or authorized by a parent or legal guardian.
